A direct cremation involves taking the deceased into our care for cremation without a viewing, visitation, wake, or funeral. Typically, the family members and friends will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Viewing or Identification is approximately 30 minutes in duration with the maximum on 10 people in attendants. This type involves the immediate disposition of the body. It is followed by a memorial service.
A complete cremation service is almost identical to a traditional funeral wake or viewing. The one major difference is no casketed burial following the service, cremation will take its place.
